Supporting entrepreneurship in the Seberang Perai Polytechnic, Malaysia (PSP), with job creation being a Key Performance Index (KPI) for Polyrate, PolyPMO, Malaysia Polytechnic Entrepreneurship Center (MPEC) & PSP Entrepreneurship Unit target, is key focal point and what we set out to support in 2015. PSP Entrepreneurship Unit continuously strives to support the sustainable development of graduates through the mentoring and evolution of entrepreneurs and leaders. We are from academic line who aims to achieve this by providing mentoring that inspires, connects and guides entrepreneurs and leaders to overcome soft skill and business challenges.

Makmal Keusahawanan atau Inkubasi telah berjaya mewujudkan budaya keusahawanan dikalangan pelajar serta melatih pelajar dari pelbagai jurusan pengajian dan peringkat kemahiran secara sistematik melalui sistem inkubasi ini yang telah beroperasi sejak Julai 2013 melalui kursus wajib PB504-Entrepreneurship Development hingga kini.A to Double Z menggalakkan serta berkerjasama dengan perniagaan yang dimiliki oleh pelajar yang telah berdaftar dengan Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia(SSM). A to Double Z berperanan sebagai penyelia operasi (mentor industri) yang dibantu oleh Mohd Hafiz Bin Abdul Halim(mentor akademik) yang memberi khidmat nasihat dan jurulatih pelbagai ilmu keusahawanan.

With an innovative mind set, the management, staff and students of PSP recorded several other achievements in the year 2015. The MEA (Malaysian Entrepreneur Award) won in November 2015, where PSP bagged in RM200 000 worth of grants, was another evidence of impactful team efforts in many entrepreneurial activities. Students of the polytechnic immersed themselves in activities that nurture them as young entrepreneurs.

PSP campus was an incubator for young entrepreneurs to immerse themselves in activities that enhanced their entrepreneurial skills, giving them the experience of generating an income. The Bazaar Malam operating every Wednesday night on the grounds of PSP saw the young entrepreneurs earning up to as much as RM67,257.70. With continuous support given and the state-of-art facilities provided like the PSP Entrepreneurial Incubator, Youth Entrepreneur Station (YES), the Trigona Garden and a Beauty SPA all within the perimeters of the polytechnic the young talents were nurtured to be creative and innovative future entrepreneurs. With the real-life experience given to them PSP graduates are ready to venture and explore the job market as job creators and not merely as job seekers.
